Most anti-scale water filters use Template Assisted Crystallization (TAC) technology. The TAC technology attracts hard water minerals and transforms them into inactive microscopic crystal particles or crystalizes them so as not to form scale on household plumbing and appliances.
The crystals stay suspended in the water and are passed to the drain.
Unlike traditional water softeners, which remove healthy minerals from your water, it keeps them in.
