Zen Water Systems CR-F Micro-Ceramic Filter
Zen Water Micro-Ceramic Filter dome is made of highly compressed ceramic with diatomic properties. The surface of the dome consists of millions of pores that measure 0.2 to 0.5 microns in diameter.
The ceramic filter sits in the top holding tank to trap dirt and debris.
After using the micro-ceramic filter for some time the trapped dirt and contaminants will begin to buildup, forming a layer of gunk on the surface of the ceramic filter. Clean the filter by Scrubbing the surface of the ceramic dome with a scouring pad or soft brush under cool running water will unclog the pores on ceramic and expose a new layer for use.
The ceramic filter has a filter life of 1,000 gallons or 1 year.
